Delhi Travel And Tourism Development Corporation

We operate out of a house called Maliyekkal in Aluva. It's a bit quiet here in Thaikkatukara, right in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. Usually, the phone rings and people ask about trips or how things work with the Delhi travel side of things even though we are way down here. The weather is different here than up north but the work stays the same. Most days involve sorting out bookings and paperwork. It isn't a huge flashy office, just a regular place where we sit and handle the tourism development stuff. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks while we are on calls. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It feels normal to us even if the name says Delhi and the trees outside are all coconut palms. There is a lot of coordination involved between the Kerala office and what happens elsewhere in the corporation. We just keep our heads down and get the logistics right. It's practical work. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. Just desks and some chairs. If you come by the post office area, you'll find us easily enough. It’s just how we run things, keeping it simple and local. We make sure the details are in order for whoever is traveling. It keeps us busy most mornings and well into the afternoon. We like the routine of it all and it works for us.
