CORE VISION NIDHI LIMITED is located on Ummer Lane in the Parakunnam area of Palakkad. It’s a small lane, so it’s usually quite peaceful away from the main road traffic. Our office is just a regular room where we conduct our daily business. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. Most of our members are people who live in the neighborhood and found out about us through word of mouth. Inside, we have a few desks and some cupboards where we keep the documents safe. Palakkad has a lot of sunlight, and our office gets quite bright in the mornings. We sit here and handle the savings accounts and other small financial tasks for the local people. It’s a very straightforward operation. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Sometimes we have long conversations with the people who come in, catching up on local news while we process their transactions. It feels more like a small family gathering than a financial institution sometimes. We use a computer for some things, but a lot of it is still done with pen and paper. We like the way things are run here on Ummer Lane. It’s a practical and honest place to work every day. It doesn't take much to keep things going.
