Cochin Medical Laboratory Llp is located right across from Kokers Theatre in Amaravathy. It’s a handy spot for people in Kochi who need their blood tested or other lab work done. We’ve been at Door No. 28/357-A for a good while now. Every morning starts early, usually around the time people are heading to work. We take the samples, run the machines, and get the papers ready. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure labels are right. People come in worried about their health, so we just try to get the results back to them quickly. The lab isn't huge, but we have the stuff we need to do the job properly. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic near the theatre, but inside we just focus on the tubes and the slides. We don't do much talking unless it's about the tests. Ernakulam is a busy place, and there is always a line in the morning. We try to move fast so nobody is waiting too long. It’s just me and a few others keeping the place running. We see all sorts of people, from young kids needing a quick prick to the elderly coming for their monthly checkups. It’s a basic service but it’s what the neighborhood needs. We’re just here doing the daily grind like everyone else. We stay until the last result is logged.
