Chicago Bridge & Iron Company.

We are based out of Azheekal House in the Kannamaly area of Kochi. Being here in Kerala means we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and the air feels different than in the north. Our office for Chicago Bridge & Iron Company is essentially set up in a house, which makes the whole workday feel a lot more relaxed than being in a skyscraper. We have the usual office equipment spread out across the rooms, and we spend a good chunk of our time coordinating with teams on various construction sites. The rain here can be quite intense during the monsoon season, and we often have to stop work just to watch the downpour for a few minutes. It gets a bit damp, but we are used to it by now. We are tucked away in a spot that isn't too noisy, so we can actually focus on the technical drawings and the logistics of our projects. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign with bright lights. Most of our visitors are people we already know or subcontractors who have been working with us for a long time. We drink a lot of local tea and sometimes order snacks from the small shop down the road. It’s a practical way to run things, and it suits the kind of work we do every day without any unnecessary overhead or complicated corporate rules.
