We operate out of Arakkathara House, located at 19/2261 in Palluruthy. It’s basically just an old house that we use for the kury business. There’s a small sign outside so you don’t miss it. Being in Palluruthy, we get a lot of neighbors coming through the doors. The rooms are a bit cramped with all the boxes of old records, but we know where everything is. It’s mostly just us sitting around the big table. We don't have uniforms or anything formal. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the news. Other days, when it’s time for the draw, the place is packed. It gets quite warm inside when there are a lot of people. We’ve been doing this for a long time now under the Centenary name. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if we are a private limited company on paper. We just want to make sure the money is handled right and everyone gets their turn. There isn't any big secret to how we work. We just show up, open the doors, and do the bookkeeping. If you need to find us, just ask for Arakkathara House near the P.O. area. Most people can point you in the right direction. We've been part of the landscape here for decades. It is a quiet existence but it keeps us busy enough.
