Royal Glass House

We’ve been setting up shop here in Binanipuram for a good while now. If you head down Edayar road, you’ll find us right opposite the post office. It is a pretty convenient spot for most folks who live around here. Royal Glass House isn't some high-end showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It is a working shop through and through. You’ll mostly see stacks of glass sheets leaning against the walls and the floor covered in a bit of fine dust. That is just the nature of the job. Every morning, we come in, unlock the big shutters, and start going through the orders. It gets a bit noisy once the cutting starts, but the neighbors don't seem to mind too much. We usually have a few guys moving heavy crates around. It is a lot of physical work and you really have to watch your fingers with the edges being so sharp. We don't have a big team of office staff. Usually, it is just one of us sitting at a small desk near the front handling the phone calls. The post office across the street is a good landmark because people sometimes miss our sign if they aren't looking. We keep things pretty simple. If someone needs a piece of glass for a window or a table, we just measure it out and get to work. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up late in the evening.
