If you’re looking for Bharathi Clinic, we are tucked away at Saketh on Karikkamuri Cross Road in Ernakulam. It’s a small place, really just a few rooms for consultations and a waiting area. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most of the people who come here live in the nearby streets of Ernakulam. It’s the kind of place where you come for a quick checkup or if you’ve got a fever. We don't have the big machines they have at the hospitals downtown. It’s mostly just the doctor and a couple of assistants helping out. The street outside is narrow and can get a bit cramped with scooters parked everywhere. Inside, we try to keep things as quiet as possible. There’s a desk where you give your name and then you just wait your turn. Sometimes the wait is short, and sometimes it takes an hour if there’s a lot of flu going around. We keep the medicine cabinets organized and the floor swept. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights. People just know where we are. The staff handles the appointments and the basic paperwork. It’s a local clinic for regular health issues. We open up in the morning, see who comes in, and head home once the last patient is seen. It's just a simple neighborhood clinic for everyday medical needs.
