Bharat Bhaavika Foundation

Bharat Bhaavika Foundation is based at Annamiria, number 97 on NCC Road. We’re right in the Ambalamukku area of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It’s a pretty busy street, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been here for a while, working away at the things we care about. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s got some old wooden desks and a lot of books and papers everywhere. We didn't start this to make a name for ourselves. We just saw that people needed a bit of extra support and we had the space to help out. We don't use big words or have complicated missions. We just look at what's in front of us and try to fix it. Some days that means helping a student with fees, and other days it's something completely different. We don't have a set routine. We just show up and do the work. It’s a small group of us here. We don't have a big budget for fancy stuff, so we keep it simple. People drop in from the neighborhood all the time. They know we're here if they need to talk or if they have an idea for something new we could do. It’s a very local, down-to-earth way of doing things. We just want to be useful to the people living around NCC Road and beyond. We’ve been at 695005 for years and plan to stay.
