Bakers Beat Llp

Bakers Beat Llp is on the ground floor of the Zaara Building. If you are familiar with Kacheri Village and Desom, you probably know the spot. The address is 2/1522A7 and it is a pretty functional space. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It is mostly just shelves and our equipment. The floor is made of old grey tiles that are easy to wash down at the end of the shift. We get a lot of noise from the street because the building is right on the main path. There is a lot of foot traffic, which keeps things interesting. We have one large window in the front that gets very dusty from the road. We try to wipe it down once a week, but the dust always comes back. Inside, the air usually smells like yeast and sugar. We have a big mixer that makes a lot of noise when it is running, so we usually have to shout over it. It is not a corporate setup at all. We just have a few people who know how to bake and we get on with it. Sometimes we run out of bags or the power goes out for an hour. We just sit outside on the steps and wait it out. It is a local business and we like the people around here. They stop in to chat even if they aren't buying anything. The signage out front is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us.
