Ashisi Clinic

Down here on Pulinthnathu Sangaman Road, things stay pretty steady. Ashisi Clinic is right by the Kadathy Market. If you’ve ever been to Muvattupuzha, you know how the traffic can get sometimes near the post office. We’ve got this small office space where we handle things. It's not a big hospital or anything like that. Just a local clinic for the folks around here. The road outside gets dusty in the summer. We spend a lot of time just cleaning the front windows. People come in from the market with their bags. Sometimes they just want to sit for a minute. We don't mind. The building has been here for years. It's got that old smell, but in a good way. Like old books and medicine. We try to keep the chairs comfortable. They aren't new, but they do the job. My cousin says we should get a neon sign, but the one we have works fine. You can see it from the road if you’re looking. Most people find us by word of mouth anyway. We don't do much advertising. There’s a small fan in the corner that rattles. We should probably fix it one of these days. But it keeps the air moving. Muvattupuzha is a nice place to work. The market nearby makes it easy to grab lunch. We usually just bring a tiffin though. It’s quieter that way. Just a normal day here at the clinic.
