Apvarkey Mission Hospital

Arakkunnam is a quiet place, and our mission hospital is right in the middle of it. Life moves a bit slower here compared to the big cities nearby. We do not have a fancy address with plot numbers and sectors; everyone around here just knows where the hospital is. The building is an old one, with thick walls and big windows that let in the breeze. We have people coming in from the nearby villages and farms. Most of them we have known for years. The hospital has a calm atmosphere, even when we are very busy. We do not have marketing people or big budgets for signs. We just have our staff who have been here for a long time. In the mornings, you can hear the birds outside before the patients start arriving. We do a bit of everything here because we are the main spot for the local folks to get help. It is practical work. We fix up injuries, help with fevers, and look after the elderly people in the community. There is a sense of history in the hallways if you look closely. You can see where the floors have worn down from years of people walking back and forth. We do not try to be anything other than a mission hospital in a small town. It is honest work, and we just keep at it day after day. Arakkunnam is home to us and we like the pace of life here.
