Palace Inn

You can find us right at T B Junction. It is one of those spots where everyone seems to pass through eventually. We’ve been running Palace Inn for a bit now, and it’s a lot of work, honestly. Every morning starts the same way with checking the registers and seeing who checked out early or who stayed an extra night without saying anything. The junction gets pretty crowded, especially during the morning rush, so there’s always something to look at out the window when we have a spare second. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a building where people can stay when they need a roof over their head for a night or two. Sometimes the pipes act up or we have to repaint a hallway because someone scuffed it with their luggage, but that's just how it goes with this kind of work. We don't have a bunch of fancy stuff here. We focus on keeping the rooms decent and the lights on. The staff is mostly local folks who walk or bike in from the nearby streets. We know the regulars by name, which makes the days go by a bit faster. It’s not always easy, and some nights are long if a guest arrives late, but we manage. If you are near the junction, you will see our place. It’s been there a while and we don’t plan on going anywhere. We just keep doing what we do every day.
