We are set up in unit 10E of the Nanma Castle Apartment building in Valapu Ochanthuruth. It’s out in Vypin, so we get a bit of that Ernakulam coastal air. The apartment wasn't originally meant for a business, but we’ve converted the rooms into a functioning pharmacy office. We’ve got shelves lining the walls where you’d usually see family photos. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when a new shipment arrives, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent looking over invoices and making sure the storage temperatures are just right. It’s quiet work, mostly. We don’t have a big sign out front, just our name on the door. People in the building know us, and we try to keep the noise down. The view from the balcony is nice when we get a minute to stand out there. Working in Kerala means you have to deal with the monsoon, so we’re always checking for leaks. We aren’t some big corporate entity; we’re just a small team trying to stay organized. We use simple tools and keep our records by hand mostly. Every morning we start by cleaning the floors and then we dive into the crates. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the routine feels comfortable. We just do what needs to be done without any extra fluff. It is a humble place, but it gets the job done for everyone.
