Amritha Hospital

You can find us over in Ponekkara, specifically in the Amrita Nagar area of Edappally. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. The hospital handles a lot of different cases every day. We’ve got different wards and sections, but it’s all fairly straightforward. We aren't trying to look like a five-star hotel; it’s a place for medical care, plain and simple. The corridors can get a bit loud during visiting hours, and the parking is sometimes a bit of a puzzle, but we manage. Most of the staff live nearby, so there’s a local feel to the place despite it being a hospital. We’ve been part of the Edappally community for quite a bit now. People come here because they know where we are and what we do. We don't spend time on fancy brochures or big speeches. We just focus on the patients in the beds and the people waiting in the lobby. Sometimes the shifts are long and the coffee isn’t great, but we get through it. The building has some age to it, but it’s sturdy and serves the purpose. We see everyone from young kids to the elderly. It’s just a regular hospital trying to stay helpful to the people around Ponekkara. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day. We don't have all the answers immediately, but we definitely work hard to figure them out.
