Amrita Hospital

Amrita Hospital is found on Siva Priya Jayanthi Road in Maradu. It’s a decent-sized building located along a road that sees a lot of local traffic. People in Maradu know us as the place to go when things aren't right. The hospital isn't brand new, so the walls have that lived-in look and the floors have been walked on by thousands of people. We have different sections for different needs, but it all feels pretty connected. You’ll often see families gathered in the parking area or sitting on the low walls outside. Inside, the air smells like disinfectant and there’s always the sound of names being called out. The staff here, from the cleaners to the nurses, are all just regular people from the area. We work long shifts and try to keep things organized despite the constant flow of patients. Maradu is a growing place, so we stay pretty busy most days. We don't have any polished corporate brochures or anything like that. If you want to know about us, you just look at the work we do every day. We handle the emergencies and the routine stuff with the same basic approach. It’s a lot of hard work, but we’ve been on Siva Priya Jayanthi Road for a long time and we’re just part of the landscape now. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
