We spend most of our time here at Ix/338 on Bank Road in Aluva. The clinic usually smells like herbal oils and sometimes the tea being made in the back room. It’s a busy spot because Aluva is always moving, but inside it stays relatively quiet. Some of us have been working here for years, and we know the regulars who come in for their treatments. We mostly just focus on getting the rooms ready and making sure everyone who walks through the door gets sorted out. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it's just a practical space where we do our work every day. Sometimes the rain gets really loud on the roof, and we have to talk a bit louder to be heard over it. We don't have any fancy decorations or anything like that, just the stuff required for an Ayurveda clinic. The morning starts with sweeping the floor and checking the stock of medicines we have on the shelves. By the time the sun is high, we are usually right in the middle of seeing people. It’s a job like any other, but we see a lot of different faces. We like the neighborhood, even if the traffic on Bank Road can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. Most of the time, we are just happy when the day goes smoothly and the equipment is working properly. It's nothing fancy, just us doing our daily work at Aarshaveda Wellness Pvt. Ltd.
