Fontana Impex Pvt. Ltd. is based in the S. N Building in Alangad, near the Kottappuram P.O. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. The building isn't brand new, but it serves us well. We have a few rooms dedicated to the different parts of the business. Alangad is a nice place to work because it’s not as chaotic as the main city centers. We have a small yard where we sometimes load smaller vehicles. Inside the office, things are pretty quiet most of the morning until the phones start ringing. We use older computers and a lot of notebooks to keep track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. There is a small kitchen area where we make coffee and take our breaks. We don't have any promotional posters or mission statements on the walls. It’s just a place of work. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where to leave our mail without even looking at the door number. We deal with various goods and the logistics of moving them to where they need to go. It’s steady work and we like it that way. No one here is trying to be a corporate executive; we’re just regular people doing a job in a building we’ve known for years. We handle the daily grind and make sure the accounts are settled.
