Adhidhi Nidhi Limited is situated over in the Kanjiramattom area. Our specific address is Door No: 1/127, Thoovanattu House. It’s right near the Amballoor post office, so it’s easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The office is basically part of a house, which makes it feel very different from those big banks in the city center. We like it that way because it stays quiet and we can actually talk to the people who walk in. There are no long queues here. Usually, it’s just one or two people coming in at a time to deposit some money or ask about a loan. We have some basic wooden furniture and a few fans to keep the air moving when it gets humid. Ernakulam is a busy district, but our corner of Kanjiramattom is much more relaxed. We spend a lot of our time filling out forms by hand and updating the accounts on the computer. It’s a small operation with just a handful of staff members. We all live nearby, so we don't have a long commute. On rainy days, the water drips off the roof and it sounds quite nice. We don't have a big polished lobby or any of that. It’s just a room with some files and a counter. It works for us and for the local people who have been coming to us for years. We keep things simple.
