Panampilly Nagar is a nice area, usually pretty quiet with a lot of trees, though it’s getting busier lately with new shops opening up. We set up here because it’s central and easy for people to find us. We deal with food products, though our office doesn't look like a kitchen. It’s more of a place where we coordinate everything and keep the books. We have piles of folders and a couple of old computers that sometimes take forever to start up. We aren't fancy people. We wear comfortable clothes to work and drink too much tea during the day. Most of our work involves making sure the logistics side of the food business runs okay. It’s a lot of coordination between the producers and the shops that sell our items. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck getting stuck in heavy traffic or an order being slightly off. We just pick up the phone and sort it out as best as we can. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here with bosses and managers. If something needs doing, whoever is closest just does it.
