Sri Sai Durga Hallow Bricks

Our yard is located at Door No.4-117 in Somavarapadu Post, right in the Denduluru Mandal area. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. Sri Sai Durga Hallow Bricks is basically just a production site where we spend most of our time dealing with the hollow blocks. It’s noisy because of the machines, but we’ve gotten used to that over the years. My hands are usually gray from the cement by midday. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here; we just make these bricks so people in the mandal can build their houses and walls. The yard gets pretty busy when a big order comes in, and everyone has to pitch in to get things moving. We don't have a receptionist sitting behind a desk. Usually, if you show up, you’ll have to find one of us near the back where the drying happens. The weather in Denduluru Mandal can be tough on the work, but we manage to keep the schedule going most weeks. It’s a local operation, through and through. We know most of the guys who drive the tractors and trailers around these parts. There’s a lot of pride in seeing a truck drive off with a full load, knowing those bricks are going to be a part of someone's home soon. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without any fuss. It's a lot of manual labor, but we don't mind it.
