La Rasa Cafeteria Private Limited

You can find us at D.No.1-3-4 in Kummara Palemv D Puram. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here, but the locals know the spot well enough. We opened La Rasa Cafeteria because we wanted a place to work that felt like home. The kitchen is small, so we have to stay organized or we end up bumping into each other. Most of the day is spent prep work, chopping things and getting the stove ready. It’s not like those big city cafes with the matching uniforms. We wear what’s comfortable for the heat. The chairs don't all match and the floor has a few cracks, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the lunch rush. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait it out with some cold drinks. D Puram is a decent place to be based. We know the neighbors and they know us. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and the smell of cooking hangs in your clothes all day. That’s just how it is when you’re running a small place like this. We like the routine of it, honestly. It keeps us busy and out of trouble most of the week.
