Hafeez Carpets

Hafeez Carpets is located right in Tangella Mudy. It is a place where we have spent most of our working lives. The shop is filled with all sorts of carpets piled up high. It smells like wool and sometimes a bit of tea because we usually have a pot going in the back. Working here means getting your hands dirty and lifting heavy things, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which we like. People come by when they need something for a room or if they are just curious about what we have in the stacks. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for a certain size, we usually have to dig through a few layers to find it. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We open early most days and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't a lot of fuss here. We just show what we have and let people decide for themselves. It is a slow pace, but it suits the way we like to run things. Tangella Mudy is a good spot for us. We have seen shops come and go, but we are still here in the same spot, doing the same thing. Life goes on like that.
