Bajrang Bricks Industry

Bajrang Bricks Industry is located in Mohankheda, right on the Main Road. We’re quite close to where Chilkana Road cuts in. It’s a busy intersection area, so there is always noise from the traffic and the horns. We’ve got a good-sized plot of land here where we do all the mixing and baking. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits or shiny shoes. We are usually in our work gear, covered in some amount of dirt and soot. I started this industry because I wanted to stay local and work for myself instead of moving to a city. We have a few machines that help with the molding, but a lot of it is still done by hand with shovels and barrows. The yard can get pretty messy when we have a big order going out, with tractors and trailers coming in every few minutes. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk you see on signs. We just show up, make the bricks, and sell them to whoever needs them. Sometimes we have to deal with the mud when the Chilkana Road area gets flooded after a big storm, which slows us down. It's just part of the life here in Mohankheda. We’ve got a steady group of workers who have been with us for years, and we all just get on with the business of the day. If you drive past, you can't miss the tall chimney and the rows of bricks.
