Basanagouda Enterprises

Our place is located at No:32/02/127 in Marikar Garden, right on South New Street in Edalakudy. It’s a quiet enough spot in Nagercoil, though the street gets a bit busy during the morning hours. We’ve been running Basanagouda Enterprises from here for a good bit of time now. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We handle a variety of items and supplies depending on what people in the area are looking for at the moment. The shop isn't huge, but we manage to pack a lot into the space we have. You’ll see boxes stacked up in the corners and old ledgers on the desk that have been there for years. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s just how things are done in this neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to wait a bit, but we just keep the doors open and talk to the neighbors. We don’t have a big marketing team or a shiny website to show off. We just do our business honestly and try to help out whoever walks through the door. It’s steady work. My son helps with the heavy lifting and I handle the accounts. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same address, doing the same work every day. It’s a simple life.
