Sri Sahasra Sathwika Dairy Form

Our dairy form is located at H No 1-2-97/11 in Hitech Nagar Colony. We are over in the Yellareddy Guda area near Kapra. If you know the ECIL Post, you aren't too far from us. Working with cows means our day starts way before the sun is even up. You have to be there to milk them and feed them, or they get restless. It’s a lot of physical labor, cleaning out the stalls and moving heavy bags of feed around. At Sri Sahasra Sathwika Dairy Form, we don't have a lot of fancy technology. It’s mostly just us and the animals. The milk has to be handled carefully and moved quickly, especially when it’s hot outside. Hitech Nagar is a bit of a mix of houses and some open spots, so we have to keep everything very tidy so the neighbors don't complain. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes a cow gets sick and that means a long night of watching over her. It’s not the kind of job you can just leave at five o'clock. People in the colony know we are here. We just try to keep the supply steady. It’s a quiet kind of life, mostly focused on the rhythm of the animals and the seasons. We make sure the containers are scrubbed clean every single morning before the first milking begins. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do.
