Our place is located at S-43-A, on the first floor in the School Block of Shakarpur. Avighna India Fisheries Private Limited is the name on the door, though it’s a bit cramped in here with all the equipment and files. Shakarpur is a crowded area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We spend a lot of our time dealing with fish farming logistics. It’s not always easy. Sometimes the water quality isn't right or the transport is late. We just have to roll with the punches. The team is small, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We aren't wearing suits or anything. Most days I’m just in a t-shirt and jeans trying to get through the to-do list. We have a lot of maps and charts on the walls to keep track of everything. It’s a practical workspace. We get a lot of tea from the stall downstairs. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying boxes up and down is a workout. We focus on the daily grind of the fisheries business. It’s mostly about making sure the details are right. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work ourselves. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how a real business looks when people are actually working. We just want to get through the day and do a decent job for everyone involved.
