Tata Motors Ltd

We are up on the fifth floor of Sree Ganesh Tower, specifically Flat No. -503. This is in the Hurlung area of Jamshedpur, not far from Loyola B. Ed. College. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it’s a developing spot. We handle things for Tata Motors Ltd from here. Being high up means we get a bit of a breeze, which is helpful because Jamshedpur can get really hot in the summer months. The tower is a big building and we are just one small part of it. Inside the flat, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of folders. We don't have a big staff, just enough of us to keep the operations running smoothly. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and some open land towards the college. We spend most of our time on the phone or working on the computer. It’s a very quiet office, mostly because we are tucked away on the fifth floor. People don't usually just walk in unless they have specific business with us. We have a small pantry where we make tea in the afternoons. It's a very straightforward way of working. No one wears suits here, we just dress casual and get through the list of things we need to do. It feels more like a home office than a big corporate branch, and we like that because it feels more personal and less like a factory.
