Pratik Sangharsh Foundation

Our place is at House Number 25 in Shastri Nagar, which is part of Block N-4 in East Singhbhum. It’s a pretty busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside the window. Pratik Sangharsh Foundation is situated in a residential area, which means we have neighbors all around us. The office is just a regular house that we have set up for our daily work. It has a bit of a lived-in feel, with old wooden chairs and stacks of newspapers in the corner. We get a lot of noise from the street, especially during the morning rush, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk or bike over in the mornings. It’s not a fancy corporate environment at all. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that’s usually where most of our conversations happen. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter for the work we do. We spend our time answering the phone, filling out forms, and talking to the people who walk in from the neighborhood. It is a very straightforward way of operating. We don't have any big goals of expanding; we just want to keep things running smoothly right here in Shastri Nagar. It’s just how things are done in this part of Jharkhand.
