Jamna Auto Ind Ltd

This facility is located in Ashiana Enclave, on Dimna Road in the Mango area of Jamshedpur. It’s a bit of a trek to get here, especially with the way the roads are. We deal with auto parts and manufacturing stuff. Even though we are based here, we have connections down in Krishnagiri and Tamilnadu too. It’s a pretty industrial setting, which makes sense given that we work with springs and heavy components. The air usually smells a bit like metal and grease, and there is a constant background noise of machines running. I spend my shift checking on the inventory and making sure the shipments are ready to go out. We get trucks coming in and out all day long, so the yard is always busy. The heat here can be quite intense, but we have some big fans in the warehouse area to keep the air moving. We have a small office section where the walls are covered in production schedules and safety charts. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear nice clothes because everything has a thin layer of shop dust on it. The crew here has been around for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s a solid, straightforward place to work. We don't do anything flashy; we just make sure the parts are built right.
