Component Exports

We’ve been working out of this spot at P-44/2 in River View for quite a while now. It’s right in the Telco Colony area of Jamshedpur, which is a pretty active part of town. Our main thing here is handling different kinds of components that need to be sent out. Most of what we do is export-related, so there is always a lot of packing and checking lists. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we can store things and keep the paperwork organized. We spend a lot of our time dealing with crates and making sure the labels are right before they go on the trucks. It gets really hot in Jharkhand during the summer, so we try to get the heavy work done in the early morning before the sun gets too high. It’s just a few of us here, and we don’t really have a big office staff. We mostly just talk to the drivers and the people we’re shipping to. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the river nearby. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to get the parts where they need to go without too much trouble. If you’re coming by, you’ll see our small sign out front. It’s a basic operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the colony and the way things move around here.
