We are based in Nuagram, which is part of the Ghatshila area in East Singhbhum. Our address is number 12, right by the old postmortem building. The Aarogya Tatv Association of India is basically a local group that looks at health and wellness for the people living in Jharkhand. Ghatshila is a nice place, but like anywhere else, people get sick and don't always know where to go for advice. We don't pretend to be a big hospital or anything like that. We are more of a community spot where people come to talk about staying healthy. The office is simple and stays pretty busy during the day. We get folks coming in from all over the Purba Singhbhum district. It’s a bit of a walk from the main post office, but people find us. We don't use a lot of medical jargon because most of the people we talk to just want straight answers. Sometimes we have to wait for supplies or documents to arrive from the city, which takes time. We handle things as they come. It’s not a polished operation, but we are here every day. We don't have a fancy reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is there. We’ve been at this for a while and the neighbors know us well by now. The work is steady and we just keep the doors open for anyone nearby.
