You can find the Vikram Tirkey Foundation For Community Healthcare over in the Sonari area. Specifically, we’re located in Vijaya's Shatabdi, up on the first floor in Padma Block, Flat No. 611. It’s a decent spot in East Singhbhum and easy enough for people to find once they get inside the complex. We’re mostly focused on health matters in the local community here. It’s not a hospital or anything, just our base where we plan things and talk to people. We decided to set up in Sonari because it's a central place for a lot of folks. There’s always someone coming by with a question or needing some help with something. We try to keep it simple and just deal with what’s right in front of us. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have meetings or people dropping in. The flat isn't huge, but it's enough for what we’re doing right now. We don't have a lot of corporate polish or fancy furniture. It's just a working space. Everyone who works here is from around the area, so we know the local issues pretty well. We’ve been here in Padma Block for a while now and we’re getting used to the rhythm of the building. It’s a practical way to run things without spending too much on a big storefront. We just want to be there for the community and handle health stuff as best as we can. It’s hard work but someone has to do it.
