Vandana Rice Mill

Vandana Rice Mill is located on Road No. 3 in Adityapur Bazar. If you go behind the SBI branch there, you will find us. The bazar is a very crowded place, so getting trucks in and out can be a real headache. We often have to do our loading and unloading very early in the morning or late at night when there are fewer people around. The mill has been part of the bazar for a long time. It is a narrow building that goes back quite a way from the street. Inside, it is full of the smell of raw grain and the sound of the motors running. We don't have a lot of fancy office space, just a counter where we talk to people. The walls are stained from years of dust and work, but we think it gives the place character. Our workers are mostly from the local neighborhood and they know the business inside out. We focus on the basic task of milling rice for the local market. Sometimes the machines get jammed with stones or debris, and we have to stop everything to clean them out. It is frustrating but it is part of the daily grind. We do not have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the mill running and serve the folks who come to Adityapur Bazar. It is just a practical, local business in a busy market.
