Our place is situated at 352 Bhalubasa, which falls under the Agrico post office area here in Jamshedpur. It is a busy part of the city and there is always something happening outside our windows. We have been here for a while and we have grown quite used to the pace of the neighborhood. The office isn't anything you would see in a magazine; it is just a functional space where we get our daily tasks finished. We handle a lot of the local coordination for Usha Martin. The staff here are mostly local folks who know every shortcut in the city. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows shut to keep the dust out from the road. We don't really follow a corporate script here. If you call us, you’re going to talk to a real person who might be busy with a stack of papers. We deal with whatever comes our way, from logistics to local supplies. It's a place where the work gets done. Jamshedpur is an industrial town through and through, and being part of the company means we are right in the thick of it. We don't have a statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up on time, do what is required, and make sure things are running smoothly for the next day. It is just a regular office in a regular Jharkhand neighborhood. We like it just fine and keep things simple without any fuss.
