Usha Martin & Alloys Limited

Our spot is located in Adityapur, right over at 22/3 S-Type. If you know Jamshedpur, you know this part of town gets a lot of industrial traffic. We’ve been set up here for a good bit of time. The office is pretty basic, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through the usual pile of things that need doing every day. The weather in Jharkhand can be a bit much in the summer, but we manage. Most of the staff comes from nearby, so there is a lot of talk about local things during lunch. We aren't big on making speeches about what we do. We just show up, handle the alloys and the paperwork, and head home. The S-Type area has its own vibe, very lived-in and practical. You might see some of us standing outside during a break just catching some air. It’s a straightforward kind of life here. We don't have a big reception area with leather chairs. It’s more like wooden desks and old files. It works for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same. Just a bunch of people trying to do their jobs without making too much of a fuss about it. We usually keep the windows open when it's not too dusty out to let a breeze in. It’s a simple life.
