Tisco(Jamshedpur)

Our spot is in Tube Colony over in Baridih. Jamshedpur is a steel town through and through, and we are right in the middle of it at DS 45. Being part of the Tisco ecosystem means there is a lot of history in the air. This building is not brand new. The walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it works for what we need. We see a lot of people coming in and out from the colony. Most of us have been here in Jharkhand for our whole lives. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just show up, check the lists, and get to it. The 831017 area code is home. Sometimes the logistics get complicated with the trucks and the shipments, but we manage. It can get noisy with the industrial sounds nearby. We use those big old ceiling fans that have been there since the place opened. They make a lot of noise but they keep the air moving. You get used to the rhythm of the colony after a few weeks. We have got a small desk where the main ledger stays. Everything is written down by hand mostly. We do not have a website or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk through the front door. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks.
