Tilcon L.Td Tata Naghar

Our place is on Gauri Shankar Road in Jugsalai. It’s a busy part of town near Tata Naghar. There’s always someone honking outside or a rickshaw trying to squeeze past. The building is marked W-2, H-333, and it’s been part of this street for a long time. Jharkhand gets very humid, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. Tilcon L.Td isn't a huge operation with hundreds of people, it’s just us here managing the daily tasks. We see a lot of the same faces walking by every morning. The floors are a bit worn down from people coming in and out. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone at a desk typing away or talking on the phone. The Gauri Shankar Road area is quite old and has its own character. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We keep the ledger books organized, or try to at least. There are stacks of paper that seem to grow every week. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby or fancy coffee machines. It’s just a workspace where we handle our business in Jugsalai. Everyone knows everyone else around here, which makes it feel like a small community even though it’s a big industrial town in India.
