You can find us at SNTI, specifically over at GT Hostel-4 in Jamshedpur. It is a bit of a different environment since it is part of the training area. The atmosphere is very focused on learning and technical stuff. Our space here is not a grand office building. It is just a functional room within the hostel complex where we manage the Tata Steel Ltd. Jamshedpur tasks. There are usually students or trainees walking by in the hallways, talking about their classes or the work they are doing on the shop floor. It keeps the energy high, even if the office itself is just a few desks and a printer. The walls are that standard government-style yellow, and the windows look out over the hostel grounds. It is not the quietest place in the world, but it feels like the heart of the technical side of the city. We do not have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular water cooler and some files. Most of our day is spent coordinating with different departments or checking on the logistics for the steel plant nearby. It is a very grounded way to work. You aren't tucked away in some ivory tower; you are right there where people are getting trained for the industry. It makes the work feel more connected to the actual ground reality of Jamshedpur. We stay busy until the evening when the hostel starts to quiet down a bit.
