It’s a residential-feeling spot, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than being in a heavy industrial zone. We are a branch of Tata Steel Limited. The office is basically a house that we use for work. It has that local Jamshedpur vibe where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We don’t have a fancy reception or a coffee machine that does ten types of drinks. We just make our own tea and get to work. The desks are spread out through the rooms. It's a bit of a maze with all the files and equipment we have to store. We spend our time checking numbers and making sure everything is in order. It’s a quiet existence for the most part. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or talk for a bit. It’s a very human way to work. We aren't trying to sell anything to anyone who walks in. We are just here to do the job we were hired for. The neighborhood is nice to walk through during lunch. We like being tucked away in Golden Town.
