Our place is at House Number 01 on Road Number 01 in Zakir Nagar West. It is located in the Azadnagar area of Jamshedpur. We have been part of this local community for a long time. As Tarapore & Co Ltd, we focus on different kinds of projects that need doing around the region. Our office is not anything special to look at if you are passing by. It is just a functional space where we keep our files and meet with the foremen to discuss the day's work. We spend a lot of our time out in the dust and the sun at various sites. That is where the real work happens, after all. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to our clients directly and figure out what they need built. Sometimes the supplies are late or the weather is bad, but we just deal with those problems as they come. It is a very practical business. We employ a lot of local people who know how to handle tools and heavy machinery. We have seen Jamshedpur grow and change over the decades, and we have played our own small part in that. We are not looking for any awards.
