Shiv Shakti Path Parivhan

Our office for Shiv Shakti Path Parivhan is right there in the Bihar State Co Operative Bank Building on the Main Road in Bistupur. We are in Shop No 3 on the ground floor, so you don't have to climb any stairs to find us. Being in Bistupur means there is always something going on outside our window. It is one of the busiest parts of Jamshedpur and we like being in the middle of it. We mostly deal with transport and moving things around, which means a lot of coordination and time spent on the phone. The office is a bit small and cluttered with clipboards and maps, but we know where everything is. Our staff consists of just a couple of people who have been working together for a long time. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the trucks to check in or for new jobs to come through. Sometimes the traffic on Main Road makes it hard for people to park, but they usually manage to find a spot nearby. We do not use any big computer systems, just basic stuff that works for us. It is a honest day's work and we try to stay on top of the logistics as much as we can. Every day brings a different challenge, maybe a delay or a change in plans, but that is just how the transport business goes. We stay here until the work is finished for the night.
