Seva Sadan (C S D W)

We are based at A/B 211 Khutadih, over in the Sonari area of Jamshedpur. This part of town has its own pace, and we’ve fit right in over the years. Our work at Seva Sadan (C S D W) is mostly about day-to-day operations that keep things moving for the people we serve. We don't have a polished front office or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us working at a wooden table covered in papers and maybe a half-finished cup of tea. The building is easy to find if you’re familiar with the Po-Sonari area. We do a lot of coordination with local folks. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the files, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once and there aren't enough hands. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just help out with the tasks that need doing. It’s about being part of the Jamshedpur community. We’ve lived here a long time, so we know the local streets and the families around us. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. It’s practical work that requires some patience and a lot of common sense. We’re just regular people doing our best to keep this place going for another day. It's not always easy, but it's important to us and the people who come here.
