You can find us at Room Number 5 on the Old Purulia Road in the Zakirnagar and Azadnagar section of Mango. This is over in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. It is a very lively and somewhat noisy part of town, which is just how things are here. We operate out of this single room, handling all the paperwork and coordination for the water conversion corporation. The space is quite small, so it is mostly taken up by desks, a few chairs, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. Being right on the main road means there is a lot of dust and the sound of traffic is always in the background. We have been here for a good amount of time and have gotten to know the other shop owners and residents in Azadnagar. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a fancy lobby or air conditioning that works all the time. We just focus on the engineering documents and the project schedules that need our attention. Most of our work is technical, so we spend a lot of hours looking at figures and maps. It is a very practical way to run things, and it suits the industrial nature of Jamshedpur. We aren't here to impress anyone with a shiny office. We are just here to do the job and make sure everything with the saline water projects is moving forward as it should be.
