So we are set up here in Basti, Uttar Pradesh. It’s not the busiest city in the world, but for us, there’s always something to do. The pin code is 831017 if you’re trying to mail us something. Most of the time it’s just the sound of trucks idling in the yard. The dust gets everywhere in the summer months, and you just have to live with it. We handle a lot of different things coming through here. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the drivers know where they are going because some of these rural roads aren't great. We sit in the office and drink way too much chai while waiting for the morning deliveries to arrive. It’s a simple setup. Not many people from the big cities come out this way, but we like the pace. It’s honest work. Sometimes a shipment is late because of rain or a breakdown, and we just have to figure out a way to fix it. We don't have any fancy software that does it all for us; it’s mostly just people talking to people. You get to know the locals after a while. The neighbors are decent enough, and we try not to block the road too much when the big lorries are turning. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation. Nothing more to it. We keep at it every single day and try to keep things moving as best as we can without any fuss. It's just what we do.
