Hindustan Copper Limited

This office is based out of the Get Hostel at the ICC/HCL campus in Moubhandar. It’s a bit of an unusual spot if you’re used to traditional offices, but it works for us here in Ghatsila. The address is 832303, right in the Jharkand copper belt. Being in the hostel area means there’s always people moving around, especially the younger trainees and staff. It’s a very active atmosphere. We have a few rooms set up for our administrative work. It’s not a place for big meetings or corporate presentations. We mostly deal with the logistics and the needs of the folks staying here. The rooms are basic with simple desks and chairs. Outside, you can see the greenery of the campus and hear the sounds from the processing unit not too far away. The weather can get quite rainy during the monsoon, which makes the whole place very muddy. We don't have any polished floors or fancy lighting. It’s just a place where we sit down to track the copper movements and handle the local staff issues. Everyone knows everyone else here, so it’s very informal. We just get through the lists and files every day. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work. It’s just the reality of working on-site in a place like Moubhandar. We keep things moving and don't worry about being perfect. That is just how the job goes for us here in India.
