Our office is at Holding No.222 on Road No.19 here in Jamshedpur. This is a steel town through and through, and you can feel that heavy industry energy everywhere you go. Gauri Shankar & Co has been around for a good while now. We don't go in for anything flashy or modern at all. The office has some old wooden desks and a lot of paper files stacked in the corners or on the shelves. We like it that way because we know exactly where everything is. Jamshedpur is a planned city, but things still get a bit messy around our way sometimes when the big trucks are moving through. We mostly deal with other local businesses and suppliers. It’s a lot of handshakes and building trust over many years of working together. We don't have a big website or anyone to do our social media posts or marketing. We just do our work, finish the day, and go home to our families. The rain here can be something else during the season, and sometimes the roof leaks a tiny bit, but we just put a bucket down and manage. We’ve known the families and other shop owners around here for a long time. It’s a steady kind of life. We aren't trying to grow into some huge corporation with offices everywhere. We just want to keep things running smooth and take care of the people who rely on us. It’s a simple way to do business.
