Colab Grassroots Foundation

We’re based in Jamshedpur, right in the Bistupur area at P.D. Mansion. Our specific spot is Holding No.-8, Line No.-1, in the Sb Shop Area on the Main Road. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there’s always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. The Colab Grassroots Foundation is a small group of us who wanted to do something locally. Being on Main Road makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We’ve got a basic office setup in the mansion. It’s not fancy at all, just some desks and a lot of paperwork. We spend our time working on various grassroots projects around Purba Singhbhum. It’s hard work and doesn't always go according to plan, but we keep at it. We aren't some big corporate entity; we’re just local people trying to stay busy. Sometimes we have folks dropping in from the shop area just to see what we’re up to. We try to be helpful when we can. The building has been here for ages and everyone knows it. We like being in the middle of Jamshedpur because everything we need is right there. It’s a practical location for the kind of stuff we do. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just show up every day at the office and see what needs to be handled. It's loud, it's busy, but it's where we work.
