Cafe Coffee Day

Our little spot is located at L4-2 on Cross Road-28 in the Telco Colony area of Jamshedpur. It’s a nice enough part of town, mostly quiet compared to the main city center. We spend most of our time behind the counter making drinks and making sure the tables are wiped down. It’s a regular hangout for people who live nearby or work in the area. We see the same faces almost every morning, which is kind of nice. The machines make a lot of noise, especially when we’re steaming milk, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big corporate feel here, even if the name is well known. It’s just a bunch of us trying to keep the place running smoothly. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up when it’s really hot outside, but we try to fix it as fast as we can. We have some chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a quick sit-down. Jharkhand summers can be brutal, so this is a good place to hide from the sun for a bit. We don’t do anything too special, just serve what’s on the menu and keep the music at a decent volume. It’s a straightforward job in a steady neighborhood. We’re just here from morning until the late evening when we lock up. It’s a simple life and we like the people who stop by.
