Bharat Education Council

Bharat Education Council is over on Dimna Road in Subhas Colony, No. 4, in the Mango area of Jamshedpur. We are right beside the Nidaan Clinic and just across from the Dainik Jagran office. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of town. The office is straightforward and functional. We have some wooden desks, a few filing cabinets, and some chairs for visitors. Mango can be a bit congested with traffic, but our side of the road isn't too bad most days. We spend a lot of time dealing with educational paperwork and helping people figure out their next steps. It is not a flashy corporate environment. We have local calendars on the wall and a water cooler that sometimes makes a funny noise. The staff here are all local people who know the Jamshedpur area well. We often see the same faces walking by to the clinic or the newspaper office. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the shop at the corner. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive décor. We just focus on the work at hand. The 831012 area has a good community feel to it. People often drop in just to ask a quick question. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. It is a simple, practical way to run things in Subhas Colony.
