Bala Medical Stores

Bala Medical Stores is a small pharmacy located in Sonari, Jamshedpur. We are specifically on River Meet Road No-5 Extension, and we are tucked right behind Mahato Bhawan. If you know the Sonari area, Mahato Bhawan is a landmark everyone uses to find their way around. Our shop is not very big, but we have shelves going all the way to the ceiling filled with medicines and supplies. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than a few customers at the counter. Jamshedpur can get very hot and sticky, so we have a ceiling fan that runs constantly, even though it makes a bit of a clicking sound. We know most of the people who live on River Meet Road. They come in for their regular prescriptions or just to buy small things like bandages or soap. We don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements in the window. It’s just a regular local medical store. Sometimes we have to spend a minute or two looking for something in the back because the shelves are so full, but we usually have what people need. We aren't part of some big chain; it's just a local business serving the neighborhood. The shop has a bit of a worn-in feel, but that’s because we’ve been here for a long time. We are just a simple medical store behind Mahato Bhawan.
